SHARANA (Pajhwok): Local officials on Sunday laid the foundation stone of a school building for girls, the first ever, in Ahmadabad area of Argun district of southeastern Paktika province.
Governor Mohammad Ilyas Wehdat and other local officials and a large number of residents attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the girls school at a special ceremony.
The governor said construction of school buildings, particularly of girls schools, was his priority and he was trying to resolve problems in this regard.
