PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Education officials on Wednesday said designating schools as voter registration centers had deprived thousands of students from attending their classes in central Logar province.
Logar education department spokesman, Mohammad Shahpor Arab, told Pajhwok Afghan News that voter registration centers operated in eight schools including Purk, Kalnigar, Choni, Hazrat Omar Farooq, Altimor, Faiz Kariz, Hesarak and Sari Sang in Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital.
“Students of these schools face security threats after these centers opened in the schools,” he said.
