KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Residents of southern Kandahar province say the provincial airport has been named after Ahmad Shah Baba but its services are yet to be standardized despite promises.
Local people say the airport has not been able to provide even normal services.
President Ashraf Ghani on July 3, 2019 renamed the Kandahar airport as Ahmad Shah Abdali airport.
The president had said the airport would be invested after its name was changed.
He had said that Kandahar products would be exported to Gulf, Europe and other countries through this airport . . .
