KABUL (Pajhwok): Tens of thousands of women have signed a petition in 15 provinces to ask the warring parties to declare a ceasefire and not ignore women’s voice in the peace process.
Equality for Peace and Democracy (EPD) and women’s provincial networks have collected the signatures and views of 100,000 women in 15 provinces including Kabul about intra-Afghan talks over the last five days.
The organization today presented the demands of the Afghan women in the peace process during a meeting in Kabul.
