KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan Women’s Network (AWN) on Wednesday expressed concern over a weaker role of women and youths in the peace process, saying their role should be increased to 50 percent in the Istanbul conference.
An international conference about the Afghan peace is expected to take place in Turkey in April. The conference would be attended by representatives of the Afghan government, Taliban, political parties, US, Russia, China and Pakistan and the United Nations.
