Turkmenistan ready to establish Oil, Gas Dept at Herat University

KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkmenistan will cooperate in the creation of a Crude Oil and Gas Department in Herat University, an official said on Wednesday.

Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan Wali Khan Basharmal told Pajhwok Afghan News that Herat University Chancellor Dr. Abdullah Faeez held a video link meeting with Turkmenistan Crude Oil and Gas University Chancellor Attamanove Baeermurad and discussed legal, technical and other resources for the creation of Oil and Gas Department in Herat University.

The Turkmenistan Crude Oil and Gas University chancellor provided detail information regarding the capacity, resources at their disposal and assured their full preparation for the launching of similar department in Herat University.

Dr. Faez also informed his counterpart regarding curriculum, available resources and urged Turkmenistan’s cooperation for a joint one year specialization degree in this discipline.
