JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen shot dead an engineer in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, on Thursday, an official said.
Police spokesman Fareed Khan told Pajhwok Afghan News an engineer was killed in the Arzaqo Street of the 3rd police district of Jalalabad at around 8:00am.
He added police rushed to the site of the incident and launched an investigation into the murder of the engineer.
Tamim, an eyewitness, said the assailants escaped after the attack. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the incident.
