KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Industrialists Association (AIA) says banking problems have led to a 40 percent drop in their businesses.
Abdul Jabbar Safi, director of the association, told a press conference in Kabul on December 1 that banking issues had caused the decline over the past two months.
"The government should resolved the banking problems so that the money of industrialists can be released and they are enabled to buy raw materials for the factories," he said.
Safi added that 300 to 500 industrial units did not have their own land to operate. He urged the government to provide them . . .
