QALAT (Pajhwok): Residents of southern Zabul province say a novel disease has spread among children in the Shinkai district of the province.
The disease causes rashes on children’s heads and then spreads to all parts of the head. The disease has deeply concerned the people and they call on the authorities to take steps to treat and prevent it.
Abdul Nasir Jamal, a resident of Shinkai district and a child protection activist, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the disease had spread in five villages of the district in the past few weeks and dozens of children have been infected . . .
