KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) says the Kabul department of agriculture has produced 254,000 saplings this year, of which 6,000 would be planted in Kabul.
Fazal Bari, deputy agriculture, irrigation and livestock minister, told reporters during a ceremony to plant 250 saplings in Seloo area that about 254,000 saplings had been produced this year.
He said about 6,000 saplings would be planted in 14 districts of Kabul.
Fazal said the ministry was making every effort to grow and care for these saplings. He also stressed people’s cooperation with the government in this regard.
