SHARANA (Pajhwok): The number of beds in the provincial hospital of southeastern Paktika province has been increased from 70 to 150 and 49 new doctors and paramedical staff have been hired to perform duty in various departments.
Public Health Department deputy head Dr. Mohammad Yaqub Patmal told Pajhwok Afghan News that the number of beds in the provincial hospital had been increased to 150.
He said the recruitment process of new employees has been launched and so far 47 specialists, doctors, administrative, technical and other workers have been fired after an exam to work in different departments of the hospital . . .
