KABUL (Pajhwok): The interim government has waived off tax penalties on vehicles from 2010 to 2022, offering discounts in four categories on payable tax amounts.
From March 2010 to March 2011
A government statement said on Tuesday all vehicles like motorbikes, rickshaws, taxis, buses, lorries/trucks and tractors were 100 percent exempted from paying tax fines and the amount payable for March 2010 to March 2011.
From March 2011 to March 2014
All the vehicles mentioned above are completely exempted from paying tax fines and are bound to clear 40% of tax liability.
