ATLANTA (Pajhwok): An Afghan family, barred from leaving India, has been stranded for five years in Gujarat state.
Afghan Consul General in Mumbai Zakiya Wardak had travelled to Gujarat to meet the family, which has been faced with legal issues.
The Afghan Consulate in Mumbai tweeted that the family was not allowed to move out of India because of legal problems.
Although the consulate did not elaborate on the problem, Wardak appeared in the court and urged relevant organs to help sort out the issue.
