KABUL (Pajhwok): The Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) has reactivated the Credit Register (CR System) which stopped functioning due to technical issues.
The CR System is a database that provides an overall picture of households' and firms' debts towards the banking and financial systems. It can be used by customers with a good credit history to obtain loans more easily and with better terms and conditions.
In a statement the DAB said a workshop with the employees of DAB was arranged in which complete information regarding the use, protection and structure of the CR-System was shared.
