MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Some residents of northern Faryab province complain of poor telecom and internet services, asking for upgrades to the facilities.
But officials of Telecommunication and Technology Department promised the issue of shabby telecom services would be resolved.
Mohammad Ashraf Sharifi, a university lecturer, said, he had been using the internet service provided by the Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) for five years. He added he was never satisfied with AWCC facility.
He said: “The AWCC claim of providing 4G data and other services is just a whacking lie. It remains down at least a week every month.”
