KABUL (Pajhwok): Government employees have been issued their salaries for the first month of new solar year in respect to Eid-ul-Adha, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) said on Sunday.
This comes that the budget for the current solar year has yet to be endorsed.
Earlier the MoF said that cabinet had approved the budget but recommended specific steps to be taken before endorsement.
The ministry said that before the endorsement of the budget the ministry could only have authority for one month in the budget related affairs.
It added the leadership of the ministry thus decided to issue salaries of government employees in respect to ongoing Ramazan and upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
