KABUL (Pajhwok): Last week Afghanistan offered to become part of the Chinese Belt and Road project while Japan stressed over interaction between Afghanistan and the world and pledged its full support in this regard.

Casualties
Sixteen people were killed and 8 others injured nationwide last week in diferent incidents of violence.
Two armed opponent were killed in Laghman province, according reports citing security officials. One burglar was killed in Parwan province during operation.
Local offiicals said that unknown assialents stabbed deputy head of the Nangarhar Chamber of Commerce and Investment to death, a student was stabbed to death in Parwan, a man was killed and a child injured in unknown gunmen firing in Farah and a body was recovered in Faryab province.
Reports said that one a man was killed and a child injured in ERW explosion and one child was killed and two others injured in similar incident in Kapesa province.
In Takhar, a man killed his fiancé and three members of her family and injured four other people, a man killed his brother in Ghazni and a man killed his two wives in Ghazni province.

Ten people were killed and 15 others injured nationwide in the previous week.
Before the regime change in August 2021, hundreds of civilians, insurgents and security personnel would get killed and maimed every week.
Inclusion in Belt and Road project
The acting minister for commerce and industry last week said that the caretaker government wanted to formally join Chinese Belt and road infrastructure initiative.
Nooruddin Azizi in an interview told Reuters a day after the Belt and Road Forum ended in Beijing: “We requested China to allow us to be a part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and Belt and Road Initiative… (and) are discussing technical issues today.”
Azizi said they would also send a technical team to China to enable it to “better understand” the issues standing in the way of it joining the initiative.
According to experts joing Chinese Belt and Road initiative could help improved the economic condition of Afghanistan.
Afghanistan and world should interect: Japan
Japan’s outgoing ambassador Takashi Okada believed the time has come for the world to step up interaction with IEA.
Japan was ready for cooperation in this regard, Okada said at a meeting with Information and Culture Minister Mullah Khairullah Khairkhwa.
Japan’s New Embassador to Afghanistan Takoishi Kormaya during a meeting with Acting Foreign Minister Ameer Khan Muttaqi promised efforts for further expanding cooperative relations and interaction between the two countries.
Nooruddin Azizi, minister for Commerce and Industries, also said that IEA completed all conditions for formal recogniation and asked the world to recognize the IEA government.
Some Afghan refugees in Turkiye said that Turkish police arrested, tortured and expelled them from the country.
Acting Refugees Minister Khalilurrahman Haqqani has asked the Turkish Ambassador in Kabul Cenk Ünal said that Turkish government should provide work oppertunties for Afghan refugees in Turkiye instead of their forced deporation.
He also said that refugees who wanted to return to Afghanistan should be provided a proper mechanism for their return.
Afghan Refugees Ministry said that a delegation will travel to Turkiye which will discuss matters related to Afghan refugees with Turkish officials.
According to reports some Afghan refugees who had been deported by forced by Iranian authroties have complained against the harsh behavior of Iranian police and asked the IEA to address refugees’ issues through diplomatic channels.
This comes that Afghan and Iranian offiials held their fourth meeting of counsel affairs and pledged to form a join committee to address these issues.
Afghan refugees are harassed in Pakistan
According to reports Pakistani police have arrested a large number of Afghan refugees, including those with legal domcuments.
Some 20 days earlier, the acting Pakistani government annourced that all Afgan migrants without legal documents should return to their country, according to some repots 1.4 million refugees without docurments lived in Pakistan.
UN Human Rgiths experts have asked Pakistan to cancel its plan of 1.4 million refugees’ deportation.
IEA official termed recent Pakistan decision regarding refugees as unfair and unjust and asked the people of Pakistan to force its govnerment changed this decision because according to them such decision could deteriorate relationship between the two nations.
IEA officials said that by forced deporation the neighbouring countries wanted to put pressure on the IEA government and this policy was against good neighbourhood relationship.
