KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has signed two cooperation agreements worth more than $2.7 million with Wadan Afghanistan, an indigenous government registered NGO.
MoRR wrote on X the two agreements were signed by deputy minister Abdul Rahman Rashid with the organization’s representative.
The ministry said the NGO would use the money to distribute cash aid, create jobs for the blind, psychotherapy, surveys and monitor passengers returning via Torkham in Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, Nuristan, Kandahar, Helmand, Uruzgan, Zabul and Nimroz provinces.
On June 24, 2018, the MoRR signed eight cooperation agreements with NGOs worth $4.3 million.
