KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (UNCERF) and the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF) have allocated $48.5 million for urgent humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
This funding is aimed at addressing the immediate needs of vulnerable communities across the country.
In a post on X, the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said, emphasizing the importance of a collaborative effort in providing aid.
The funds will be directed through a complementary and localized response, ensuring that assistance reaches those most in need.
