KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate leadership has decreed provision of necessary facilities for businesspeople at ports, transit points and on highways.
Islamic Emirate spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid wrote on X that the decree was issued in view of the country’s geographical location and economic importance.
He said the decree was issued in line with recent economic and political developments in the region to standardize trade and increase exports.
He said the decree was aimed at establishing sustainable and stable relations with neighboring and regional countries and to support and promote the private sector and industry.
He said relevant government departments and ministries had been asked in the decree to provide necessary facilities for trade at ports, transit points and highways, keeping in mind the country’s commercial and economic interests.
Officials of ministries in Kabul and provinces are obliged to treat the private sector well and prevent delay in related actions in accordance with the applicable legal documents of the country.
The decree also asked government administrations and ministries to use domestic products as much as possible in order to promote the country’s industries.
