KABUL (Pajhwok): Some social media activists have termed Covid-19 virus vaccination as dangerous and claim it causes multiple health problems in human body, but doctors say Covid-19 vaccination is not harmful and it helps decrease the intensity of the virus.

Social media posts on Covid-19 vaccine harmful impact

A twitter account BanoKhor wrote: “Covid-19 vaccination is very dangerous and causes different health problems in human body.”

It added: “This virus and its vaccine is one of the plans and methods of controlling human generation and this strategy is planned by a high-ranking group of world Satan.”

Another Twitter account Special Forces wrote: “Very important news to all people, all should know that Covid-19 vaccine is brought to Afghanistan for dangerous experiments.”

It added that Covid-19 vaccine was very dangerous and so far no country has experienced it.

Munir Ahmad, a resident of Khairkhana Hisa-a-Awal, said Covid-19 vaccine was very dangerous.

He said after knowing that the vaccine was dangerous, no one his family administered it.

Fact Check:

A number of health experts say Covid-19 vaccine is beneficial and can protect individuals from the virus.

Afghan-Japan Hospital Director ZalmayReshtin said administration of Covid-19 vaccine was beneficial.

He said the World Health Organisation would have never approved Covid-19 vaccination had it not been beneficial.

Associate Professor Dr. Nabil Pakteen said Covid-19 vaccination could be very beneficial. He termed administration of Covid-19 vaccination vital then its treatment and added it could help decrease the intensity of the virus.
