KABUL (Pajhwok): A top US envoy has reiterated support for Afghan women and girls in a meeting with human rights activists.
Rina Amiri, the US special envoy for Afghan women and girls, tweeted: “Met w/philanthropists & social impact allies in LA last week to mobilise concrete support for Afghan women and girls & to discuss the Alliance for Afghan Women's Economic Resilience.”
She wrote they stressed efforts in this regard must be led and guided by Afghan women themselves.
