NEILI (Pajhwok): Businesswomen in central Daikundi province complain of the deteriorating economic situation and a sharp decline in the number of clients.
Masooma Haidari, the owner of a big handcraft market, regretted that her business ran into a recession recently.
Haidari, who once headed a 40-member businesswomen association, told Pajhwok Afghan News: “Half of the members have quit their businesses due to lack of market and they cannot stage a comeback.”
Benazir Hussaini is another woman, who has been in business for the past14 years, selling different clothes for men and women.
