ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Residents of the capital of northwestern Nimroz province complain about the lack of potable water and liquefied gas, saying prices of the commodities have tripled.
Irfan Noori, a resident of Zaranj, the provincial capital, told Pajhwok Afghan News clean drinking water and liquefied gas could be found rarely in Nimroz in the extreme cold wave and they encountered many difficulties.
He added: “We have to search half the city to find a jerry can of water. Aupply companies are selling it at the price of Zamzam water and charge a three times high rate.”
