KABUL (Pajhwok): Some countreis last week renewed their call for the formation of an inclusive government and removal of curbs on women in Afghanistan, but Afghan acting government responded that its government was inclusive and women rights were entact.

Casualteis:
Last week, 18 people were killed and 19 others injured in Afghanistan.
According to reports, unidentified gunmen have shot dead a tribal elder in Uruzgan province, crime branch chief in Samangan’s Hazrat Sultan district, a child in Baghlan province a young man in Logar province and the body of a man recovered in Kapesa province.
A hand grenade blast left 13 people killed and injured in Baghlan province, according to local officials.
Reports showed that an Explosive Ramnant of War (ERW) blast left one child killed and one injured in Ghazni province, a child was killed in a similar blast in Maidan Wardak, in Kandahar, a Kochi man was killed in a rocked warhead blast and injured two children, and two children were killed and one injured in a landmine blast in Nuristan province.
Defence Ministry said that two pilots were killed in a helicopter crash in Samangan province whiel a notorious robber was killed during exchange of fire with security forces in Laghman.

Sources said tha previous week 19 people were killed and four injured in Afghanistan.
However, before the regime change in August 2021, hundreds of civilians, government forces and insurgents would get killed and wounded every week.
Ashqabad Meeting:
According to a Voice of America report, the special envoys of EU and central Asian countries for Afghanistan gathered for the fourth time in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
Besides EU special envoy Tomas Nicklasson, Special Representative of Secretary General of the United Nations RozaOtunbayeva, World Bank country director Melinda Good, the special envoys of Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan also took part in the meeting.
The representatives in a joint statement said they had an in-depth discussions about the current economic and development situations of Afghanistan.
The representatives once again reaffirmed their strong commitment to the people of Afghanistan and to seeing Afghanistan develop into a stable, peaceful and prosperous country with long-term prospects for lasting peace.
This comes that Acting PM and Political Aide Mawlavi Abdul Kabir termed the incumbent government inclusive and said individuals in the past government had no place and they were not acceptable to them.
Also G7 nations asked the Islamic Emirate implement its commitment in fight against terrorism and respect women rights in line with the UN charter.
But the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said that acting Afghan government being a responsible authority will never allow its soil to be used against any other nation.
He said Afghanistan want other nations to make sure their citizens did not enter Afghanistan for subversive activities.
Formal recognnistion:
Last week, US State Depatment Spokepserson Matthew Miller said that Washington will not recognize acting IEA government until curbs against women are not removed.
But IEA Deputy Spokepserson Bilal Karimi said: “IEA desired cordial ties with all nations and wanted formal and open ties but not at the cost of our values and national interest.”
Iran Foreign Minister Hussain Amir Abdul Hiyan also said that Tehran will not recognize IEA government until an inclusive government is not formed.
Chines Ambasador to Afghanistan Wang Yu said that Beijing was against pressure tactics, sanctions and interfeance and stood by Afghanistan.
Respect to woment Rights:
Volker Turk, UN Human Rights Commissioner, last week during a gathering in Geneva demanded the revocation of the IEA strategy regarding women rights and said curbs on women rights would push Afghanistan to poverty and disappointment.
Amnesty Interantional in its report said that besides the violation of women and girls rights, their abduction, imprisonment, harassment and improper behavior with them was considered to be a crime against humanity on the bases of the international justice laws.
But IEA repeatedly said that government was committed to protect women and girls rights under the framework of Islamic Sharia Law.
Mujahid said: “This report is baised and we reject, they should understand the realities, women under the IEA government women and girls lived honorably, they are safeguarded from violence and harassment and work in the government structure. Our thousands of sisters are busy working in health, social and other sectors.”
UN Women Organisation said that fight against women rights was faced with challenges worldwide but it was faced with serious challenges in Afghanistan. It added efforts were on to take effective steps for the improvement of women condition.
Norwegian Refugee Council Secretary General Jan Egeldan during meetings with IEA officials in Kandahar demanded resumption of women work and asked a timetable should be set that when women should return to work.
Humanitarian Aid
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has provided 16 landcruser ambulace vehicles to the Afghanistan Red Creasent Soceity (ARCS). UNICEF provided medical and non-medical aid worth $7 million wiel the EU provided 98 tonnes medical and other aid items to Afghanistan last week.
